The link above is to GM global connect for the 2010 ordering / reference guide, so i'm guessing they are still a go at this point.... but who knows.

Um... yes they are.

In any event... the death of the high rise is here! Rest in peace.

So big things:

SS Sedan DELETED
Yellow DELETED
Sunroof Standard
RPD Standard
High rise DELETED
Black/red and black/grey interiors DELETED

And the SS coupe will likely not be produced for the entire model year.

its why i did not wanna take the chance, so i picked up a brand new 2009 yellow SS last month

i would have prefered to wait till 2010 for my SS, i hate taking risks, so now i got 2 car paiment, costing me $830 a month for both

still paying for my 2005 orange LS contract ends june 2010

and even if they where to build them in 2010 you wont get deals like where geting now

They ARE making them for 2010, just not for the whole model year... and you can bet there's going to be some good deals out there as production winds down.

The HiRise delete doesn't hurt my feelings , but i'm sure some people will miss it . I actually had no choice on my 06 SC ...it was all they offered, and i had the low pro put on for around 300 bucks. Now i've got the park bench back again lol, my dealer didn't have a low pro car with G85 so i said screw it.

as posted in my ordering software.........low rise spoiler is standard equipment
and there are actually hardly any options at all for the SS
so as long as no changes happen, standard now is going to be USB radio, sun roof, XM radio, RPD, smokers package, limited slip diff.

only options are going to be; dealer installed items like the pedal covers and floor mats.

soooo, no way to even think about ordering a cheap SS without sunroof or RPD or LSD
booooooo
soooo happy i got an 09' i F'n hate the whistling sunroofs

I actually at first didnt like the wing on the back but now i do since everyone seems to be getting rid of theirs that means my will me a lil more rare. I wish my car didnt have a sunroof cause it seems everytime i use it the sun always is right above me and it so bright.

Yeah that sucks .... I don't like sunroof's , niether of my SS had one . If anything LSD should be what they make standard. I really don't care for the RPD either, while the gauge itself is very functional , the location is terrible IMHO. The best option they could have given wouldn't have cost them a dime.....the choice of no wing at all. That would have saved them some money as alot of us would have went wingless.
