i have an 08 ss and i think that the space in the wheel well looks horrible. i was considering lowering the car but it takes away from the suspension and then im just going to replace the whole thing or lose perfomance. so i figured go with a profile bigger tires? what do you guys think? does anyone have pictures with bigger tires?

 

Don't get bigger tires. They will make your car sit even higher and make the 18" wheels look like 17" wheels. Get some Progress or Eibach Sportline springs and drop your car. I have Progress springs and the ride is great. The only time I notice a difference from stock is if I hit huge bump or pothole. Lowering makes our cars look SOOOO much better!
