Winter Rims for 09 SS/TC

So i read the whole thread about the issues people have been having with winter tires. I am in the hunt for a decent set of rims, and came across a local add for 18 inch Dodge Magnum R/T rims, i'm curios if anybody knows if these will fit? If not what should i be looking at that would fit rim wise over our big brembo breaks.

i got a set of 17" cobalt ss wheels for my winter tires and they work great !

Its a tight fit but they dont touch the caliper.

i have used mine all winter with no issue.

205/50/17 is the size of my winter tires and i had to buy 4 pressure monitor sensors to mount on each wheel, one per valve stem.

good luck

Frank

I used some 17 inches wheels sold by macpek (truck parts distributor in quebec). They were around 160$ each and cleared the brembo without using a spacer. It was a tight fit, but never gave me problems. They are also strong enough to withstand to winter and spring driving, pothole included. 205/50-17 is also the tire size I used.

I bought a second set of stock wheels off eBay. If you are patient, they come up every once in a while. Someone is selling a set in the classifieds now, too.

Damn I really like those rims. Do look like they fit tight but still look real sweet. Love to have those in black for my car.

Check my gallery. I ran 17" BSA Model 264s with a tiny little 3mm spacer to be on the safe side.

considering every website ive gone to has our bolt pattern as a 5x100 (same as a wrx, scion tc....just a different offset to clear the brembo's) so 10+ websites are wrong with their 2009 Cobalt SS bolt pattern?

Yes. It's 5x110; I'd know, I bought and mounted mine.

As the other poster said, feel free to buy 5x100 pattern wheels if you want.

Must be because the Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC have always been 5x110...

congratulations, im real proud of ya....???

after calling tire rack and discount tire direct, all of the "5x100/5x114.3" options for the 08/09 SS/TC is in fact wrong...i retract my previous statement for the 5x100 fitting...what i cant seem to understand is why a bunch of these websites are showing that size for the phuckin' car and they dont fit pisses me right the **** off....my apologizes to the OP for offering bogus information

5x100 would have made it way too easy for us to find tires...
