Hi all. Thought I'd get the thread started for the May meet if you wanted to have one. I have the June meet, so somebody else is going to have to get the ball rolling on this one.

I'm in, but I'm in Vegas from the 19th to the 25th....so when else do we have?

i'm working on a meet and a crusie route now.

I'm all up for a cruise and meet..I'm not that good at planning, so I'll leave it up to the rest..Someplace not to far from Chicago or the 'burbs, so we can get as many people is always good..

Ok I will make a note somewhere on my monitor saying when it is..when its made so I dont forget this time!!! :D

fox valley wouldnt be bad at all i enjoyed the ride home but orland would be that much better.

ss schgd i got the infinity sub installed on the stock radio looks super clean but i need to swap out the stock speakers cause they sound like shit with the sub.

Cowboy, any pics? The speakers aren't to bad to change out, doors are easy, rear deck is a bit of a pain....(I had to run all new speaker wire cause I put a Amp to her Speakers, but you shouldn't have to) look forward to hearing it next meet....(who was looking for the stock Sub? I could be talked into removing it for the next meeting if your interested in it....

As far as the meet, if it's on a day I can make it, I'll be there, even if it's in urbana...

here's thos pics. i do plan on adding a second amp. looking to hang it upside down in the trunk. will this effect the amp at all? i want to keep trunk space and noticed i got a vent under the passenger side seat so i would rather not install it there.

I've never been to a dragway, I think it would be fun to go and run too, any of them

well rt 66 has test and tunes on every tuesday where all street cars can race, however i think its 40 bux to run your car for the day, but its fun and worth it if you get there early at 4 when they open and nobody is there yet

BW2 is a good spot, huge parking lot. Don't see a reason why we would have a problem....just a thought

to bad I work week nights...Maybe I need to take off a tuesday though...

YEA! my car is almost done! You all arent ready for this! Its gunna look sick! We'll say this. well this chick slammed on her brakes and I slid right under her at 25
my car was almost totalled out. 16,000 in damages! her car= >1,000
So I got a carbon fiber hood, projector headlights, new blower and new pulley, poly motor and trans mounts, custom painted cold air intake(body shops painters idea!!!) and some other miscellanious things. Cant wait to get the car back! Should be another week or two at most! So you all will see a 280 WHP cobalt ss hittin the streets this summer hard. I will race for cash also! Also the car has a 90% chance on going into HAHN for their TwinCharge set-up! on 6psi will be doing 450 whp! so ill let everyone know!!!

by the way I will be coming up to this meet with the turbo cavalier and the camaro ss. by they way they asked that their pics not be posted anywhere. and there are about 10 of them posted on this site. just fyi they are kind of pissed. but we are going to be hosing a meet sometime soon. Its going to be open to every car though not just cobalts. so feel free to bring all your friends. We will be going to a spot to race also so bring cash incase you want to get down.

we do need a date for this may thing and i found a joint in schaumburg that will allow us a dyno day for 5+ cars @ 65 for a coupla runs if anyone is interested.

hey about the pics. they had asked everyone who was takin pics if they were for themselves. and they asked that they not be posted anywhere. it was mainly for the red cavalier. he does not want anyone to know anything about his car. but its ok there are a couple and atleast there are no engine shots. but pics arent a bad thing. the meet im trying to plan with him and my car club should be big. we are looking at Fox Valley Mall again in the back of Steak n Shake. That lot can fit about 500 cars. My car club has about 648 members. im looking to get about 300-400 cars for this meet. so keep postin ur names if interested!

sundays are a no-go for me. i sous chef for the brunch crew so i gotta be there or they'll be lost without me.

found a great place to take a crusie to off of 167th and cicero and the route includes a nice long straight with few lights, if you catch my drift. so now all we need it a place to meet. an orland park cop told me "Lumes" is a real nice place and the lot looks to have ample parking.

say 2pm cause its better earlier so you still have your nights.
