Too many good XM channels, not enough preset buttons

XM just added a bunch of new channels today. Now I don't have enough preset buttons to hold all of my favorite channels lol. One thing that I find a pain in the **** is when I have to go from my 2nd XM preset group to my 1st group.. I have to hit the band button to go through crap FM and AM.. grr LOL. Anybody recommend a nice stereo that supports XM AND has more than 6 presets??

Go to Crutchfield.com and look around. Enter in the details of your Cobalt and it will list the radios they have that fit. I've always liked Pioneer, never had a CD skip on one, EVER, but the LCD's seem not to last, especially in cold climates. Most aftermarket head units will require a seperate FM modulater, though, but I know the Pioneer with XM I have in my work van sounds ten times better than the XM SkyFi I had hooked up (cheesy Best Buy FM modulater and power adapter, not the even cheesier built in wireless FM modulater the SkyFi comes with). 6 presets x 3 XM bands = 18 presets total, but it has a seperate XM band button, you don't have to cycle through FM and AM.

That is EXACTLY what I would like. What model is this? I would also like something that has some red in it to match my car.

XM: I have the Delphi Roady XT (smallest available) and I have preset all THIRTY stations
Very quick to change channels... and 7 colours. I keep mine on red mostly, since my interior is red.

But that broadcasts the satellite over the FM radio. You lose the great XM sound quality by doing that. I had a skyfi2 in my old Beretta. The sound quality from that SkyFi2 doesn't even come close to the stock radio in the Cobalt.

Ooops! My apologies. I misread your original post . Thought you were looking for an XM UNIT... Have you checked out that Pioneer yet? Do you know what colour display it has?

I accidentally erased XMLM when I entered one of the other new channels! I went to tune in Liquid Metal and it wasn't there! Yeah 12 presets for XM isn't enough. I love the radio though and not having to bring one of my other XM radios with me to hear XM so I can live with it. Good luck on finding another radio for yours! XM makes life even better with the Cobalt!
