ok...so you had problems with clearing stuff and infact impacted and damaged the car...but yet you lowered it further as a solution...

your're as bad as the guy the other day that posted a thread about getting a tint ticket and getting it replaced with darker tint....

more money then brains i guess...

I dont either, They said they wont warranty any type of holes no matter what, and they wont weld it either, so they would have to replace the condesor, replace the green oil and freon and recharge. Im going to look into an a/c place that shouuld be able to weld it. Its a very small hole. But yeah, dealership told me 1700...thats after I paid 100 just for to tell me what I told them.

new condensor: 120 on ebay
recharged kit @autozone: 30-50bucks depending on location
3hrs of labor

and ur set...no need to have a dealer do it, also the dealer will use a delphi condensor, autozone carries it for 250...so the thousand dollars they are charging u over isnt bc they use better parts, or bc it takes them 10+hrs to do, any compedant tech can do it in less than 2hrs...im actually going to make a how to on this when i replace mine, it has a hole in it, all the freon is gone, so its empty...im replacing soon w/a used stock one, and will posrt a how to for replacing it to give everyone a idea on it, labor wise and what has to be done aswell
