Cup holders are crap.

The only thing that pisses me off about my new SS is the cup holders. Everytime I take a turn, my bottle of water falls out. The holders at the back of the console are even worse. The thing is, the holders on the front could be a lot deeper. If you pull out the cup, you can see that you have a lot more room. I might thing about building a set of custom fiberglass cup holders for the front.

I've always thought they were garbage. What would be even better (and possibly easier for a vendor to do or something?) would be to have some type of "auto adjust" rubberized inserts similar to these

they suck and so does the sunroof button and bezel. other than that the car is well designed. even if it is made with a lot of plastics.

The cupholders are suppose to be two different sizes due to the different size cups you can get at those fancy drive-throughs. Would you like a hot apple pie with that?

OMG this is my #1 biggest complaint about the car. My ms3 had a bottle holder in each door then 2 nice cup holders in the console and 2 in back of it. #2 is no HID's... Anyway I swear you could make a hard rubber or plastic insert that extended the walls like 2 inches it would be nice. my energy drinks and water bottles spill all the time in this thing.

yeah it didnt look any better at holding up a can/bottle. But that is what I want is a thin insert but brings up the walls...that could be the base of a DIY insert I guess... Someone else mentioned getting boost tube silicone 2.5-3" and putting them in the cup holder...
