I think thats awesome. Does it work electronically or manually? It would be sweet to have that on a switch.

Its would be needed/useful for car shows and what not. It looks good. I thought about doing this to my car but I really do not need it just yet.

That's what I was thinking. States that require a front liscense plate. I would like to do something like this, but mine is already drilled on my car and it would probably be a pain to fill the holes.

id do it for the fact that CT requires front plates and i could have this put on my car with electronic flip up so I can throw it up if the cops said something, or otherwise just leave it down. also looks good hidden for photoshoots and car shows. pics of where you mounted it?

Thumbs down lol

Umm wait a second, he just took it off so its not really a hiding plate. Its a fallen off front plate .. And wouldn't you really want what Bond wants (James Bond the spy, for you kids to young to know ) Bond had that license plate that flipped to reveal an alternate plate so as to fool the authoreties.

Thank you guys for all the comments. I will make a How-To for it tomorrow if I have time.

It is the same thing as the SwiftMotorsports one, except I got it from a Corvette website because was quite a bit cheaper.

I had to remove my little guard, the thing that lets you know if you scrape curbs and ****, because that is the only way to install it. I believe I am the first one to have it on an LS, that I know of. It looks good on a black car, due to the bracket also being black, it mostly blends in with the car. As you can imagine, with a yellow car, it would be way more noticeable.

It is very secure and well held on there. Only reason I got it is because we need front plates here in Illinois, and I wanted to be able to put it up whilst driving, or down for meets/car shows, etc.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

So you cut out the wind deflector guard? I guess your car should be fine w/o it

I installed mine w/o cutting anything.

It's the little guard to let you know if you pull too close to a curb so you don't go hitting your radiator and ****, it really doesn't do much. I did not cut it out, I unbolted it from the fascia completely. In order to keep it on, I would have had to cut it in position where it was mounted. It would have been a pain in the ass and probably looked like ****.

It's much easier for you SS guys; like I said, I believe, and am pretty ******* sure, I'm the first LS to do this.

It's the, about, 1" long plastic guard thing that goes in the highlighted area. I would have had to make a cut to separate it for the holder to slide between when it goes in. Some guy with an SS told me it was an air dam, but I don't think us with the LS have that.
