ok so ive been reading posts and cant find a clear answer to wheather or not gm is going to keep the cobalt ss coupe for 2010.i was going to buy an 09 but if they r coming out with a 2010 ss then ill just wait till it comes out and have more of a down payment for the beast.

Don't keep your hopes up. The deal with their bailout was no SS models til they got their shit together. If they are released as an 10' model, like said earlier, it'll probably be just for the first quarter.

theres no 2010 ss/tc for production, production of the 09s was stopped in mid-early feb.09 and all models were 09's

GM was lying to me when they said they had plans for a short TC build cycle for 2010 an dwhen they gave me a complete standard equipment list.....

I might of been delayed, thats was when the production was suppost to stop. im sure they finished what was on the line. but im pretty sure there will not be a 2010 ss/tc. if you heard this info from your dealer, i would take that in one ear and out the other, for most of the people at the dealer know nothing about the cars they sell sadly.

were gonna have to many fast cars..like look at our new pony cars,....they are talking about making the 2011 mustangs with a 5.0 or a 5.4, they are talking like insane HP all these gas guzzling fast cars are going to pose a problem in the next couple years,,,anyways, insurance rates go up and all that other BS..then they will slowly fade away again and then rise 10 years after that, whatever im just ranting, all i know is if what i guess is true then these TC's may be the quickest production for some time.......maybe hold a fair resale value for 5 years or so....if were lucky cause no car ever increases in value.

its called a concept. the cruze will release but it hasnt yet been disclosed if there will be a ss model, but there is a 1.8 deisel motor for the car in europe. there is talk of the car having a 2.0 turbo, here but its not for certain.

no big deal i did that one day my self but moved it to the side of the screen and i was irate about it, for it was bugging the heck out me, i was confused for while cause i was use to windows xp and you have to hit one of the ctrl onf of the f buttons or manual set it, not with vista. so yeah it took me a few hours to fix mine the first time. lol so dont feel so bad, well all have are blond moments

yeah take it easy bro, stage kits should be out soon there tying to release it along with someother gm parts like an intake,ext too. but it will be soon i can tell ya.

very low percentage of ppl want a coupe.....they are awsome but not much of the population find it the car to have, its unfortunate

chevy has some the avg person just wont by or cant afford one, the vett, theres also the new camaro as well. it will be a while before any other coupe comes out, the cruze isnt going to be a coupe far as i know. note the viper is not a production car. it only gets made to order. cept for a few that dealers have to show, they have to produce so many to be consider production, and they dont, besides that, the viper is done come 2012. its going bye bye

My Grandpa worked for GM for 30 years and his friend who still works in management in OH told him this.

production date still makes it an 09 hate to bust your balls and pee in your corn flacks, j/k the cars will still be an 09. if they sell it as an 10 its not a true 10 it kinda will fall under false advertisment, when you go and get it registered its going to come up 2009 on the title. some cruzes should arrive at some dealers in early august

Its going to be just like the 09 Trailblazer. 08 was supposed to be the last year for the trailblazer because of the Traverse and new Equinox. However, they had leftover parts.......made the 09 Trailblazer from July-ish to Oct 08 and called it quits. I see in my GMglobalconnect login that there is an option for the 10 cobalt coupes and sedans and even for the ss coupe....model number 1AP37. Looks like they are just building leftovers.....badging them as 10s and voila. Wont be a full blown production run just for a short while and then start on the Cruze.

General Motors has announced that North American production of the Chevy Cruze will begin by April of 2010 at GM's plant in Lordstown, Ohio. This time line means Cruze will debut in the U.S. as a 2011 model. The company has said Cobalts will continue to be built at Lordstown for a short time after Cruze production starts, and at least one media report suggests Cobalt production could then shift to Mexico. i may buy a used one but i have two used cavalier's the only reason i wanted a cobalt so badly was because i could buy a brand new one. something no body else has ever touched.

It's prolly not a 2010 SS then. I have an 09 with no sun roof but I'm pretty sure all 010's will have one as it is now standard equipment
