am i the only one?

i really love my new 09 ss tc/ came from a 05 regular neon sxt which is slow as *****.

so it is fun to drive.

ive only had my car long enough to pay just 1 car payment.

this is the 3rd time i take my ******* car to the dealership.
(1) passenger air bag light
(2) leaking coolant (replace coolant line)
(3) its in now to replace shift cable... and none the wear houses have the part and its on back order rofl.

ive had my car for 5 weeks so far.

is it me or i have a lemon or is this a pos car that everyone has been taking it for repairs constantly.?

Bought mine in June of 2008, and only had the coolant leak issue. Got the hose replaced under Warranty and havent had another problem.

Mine was in the shop for transmission issues within a couple weeks of getting it, and they threatened it would be there for 4 weeks due to parts! (Bad synchros) "Luckily" it was only there for two and I haven't had an issue since.

That'll go away as you wear them in.

I've had one issue...kinda my fault, though. I was at the track (I am frequently) and I went to shift to third and then it went into limp mode and I threw a P0091 Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid or something like that. There is a couple wires that run to this Solenoid and with all the engine movement between shifts they just ripped. Drove to the dealer in Limp Mode and they fixed it in a few hours for me. Other than that she's been a gem.

lol... dont even get me started... the first week i had the car, i had the weather stripping replaced...

then went in cause i had a CEL... i guess it was just a misfire... then went in cause my brakes where squeeking... they said it was normal...

then went in becuase my transmission linkage was messed up and the car wouldnt go into 5th without using the reverse lockout...

then went in cause my emergency brake failed me...

thank god though everything was fixed the day the car was taken in... only pain is that they take their entire day to fix it...

I've had mine for almost a week, and have put almost 500 miles on it from what the odometer was it (they had to drive the car down from chicago to dayton, OH.) I haven't had any problems with mine yet but will definatley keep an eye on things after reading up on this thread.

Have had mine since June of 08 with no major problems... Only thing I have had done is the leaky sensor (known problem) and I had my rotors redone (service recall).... other than that things have been perfect.....

I probably just jinxed myself....

My car had a lot of fit and finish problems. Front and rear bumpers were misaligned, interior rattles, and a cracked striker that made a god awful noise with every bump in the road. I found a random steel nut stuck to a speaker magnet in my trunk. And the front fender where it meets the a-pillar is pealing away as if it's coming unglued from that spot. All this has certainly left the impression on me that it was haphazardly screwed together. Luckily, no powertrain issues though. I always fill out the JD Power survey, and I gave this car the lowest marks of any new car I've ever owned.

But thats a wear item and to be expected! (at least according to my dealer... BS its time for a recall.... If it were a wear issue why are my front brakes perfect?)

I've had my 08 since June of last year. Just under 22k. I had a couple drops of water fall out of my OnStar mic. That was a bit weird.
