Just went on one hell of a spending spree

Well, time to let the fun begin. Just ordered a good amount of stuff. Went with hahn products, got the intake, the turbocharger, piping, exhuast, offride downpipe (no more e-check were I live so no point I see to have a cat), and the front mount intercooler. After installs I am gonna get trifeca tuned. Think I spent enough money for a day.

Yeah, took a little hit on funds but it will be worth it. After all the poking around I've been doing arounf here it looks like hahn makes some real nice quality parts. I have friend that runs a shop and mostly deals with pontiac gtp's, grand ams, and the newer chevy monte carlos. He wants to get into the market with these cars. He wanted my car to be the tester for the parts he would make. Nothing against the work he does, just wanted to go with something thats been out there.

Hahn really hasn't been on the boards much lately I would have went with CIA considering they have a hefty amount of R&D work. But thats just me.

So, going to spend some money on a clutch too? I would think after a Trifecta tune and all those mods, you would probably see some clutch slip from the stories I've heard...

Yeah, can't wait to see how it sounds without a cat on the car. When I had my gtp, the exhuast consisted of headers, 3 inch dp with no cat, and a spiral flow muffler that would sit just about were the cat was with pipes straight back. It was loud, for sure, but sounded good with the cam lope. I could set off car alarms with the exhuast.

I know you will like the parts. I live just north of you in Greenville and if you would like to hear what it will sound like let me know. My HHRSS was there (Hahn) test mule.

Its all personal preference, but I would leave the resonator . Without it you begin to get that raspy rice sound instead of the deeper exhaust note... If you like that rice sound, take it out.. Again its all personal preference .

Yeah, I'll probably leave the resonator on, don't want a real raspy sound with it.
