I know I know.. Another Black SS/TC -

Took delivery Monday, had er' debadged and detailed Tuesday (car had been on the lot for 311 days) which for a Black car is not good. Got most of the surface scratches out but still have some deep stuff to get cut/buffed - Wednesday was tint day/take front braket day off (thanks Rissa for the explaination), today (Thursday) is H&R Lowering Spring Day/exhaust day.

Going from an H3 to this has been great - loving the car and yet, only have put 200 miles on it.

mmmmm... I have a red/black theme going on my car. I have VR though

 

I am not going to go w/ aftermarket headlamp units - I like the stock look. I will be doing LED bulbs in both headlights and foglights. As far as tails, I really wish there was an outer set to match the inner set w/ red and clear (no Altezza style).

As far as wheels, I would really like to find a set of HHR SS Polished 18's - however am looking into just polishing my stock SS/TC's. Also, looking to powdercoat brakes red. I like the way red looks when the wheels are spinning...

May be a little different direction, but I don't really want to murder mine out...

Nope - looked at HID and still considering them, however, look at the LED headlight bulb technology.. looks interesting...!

 

oh no ive seen it on high end cars but not on a cobalt, itd have to be custom fabbed

 

Go onto Ebay and look up LED Bulbs... Hell they are only about $37.00 so if they are trash or look bad.... I will toss them. I would rather put my $$ into other things. I wrote in $1200 for leather, but it wold seem as though Katzkin and Classic Soft Trim don't like the SS/TC seats because they don't have a kit for them.

Black was not my first choice due to the reasons I posted above however, the car is tit$$ when clean... Red and Yellow were first choice.

 

Never get sick of seeing a black tc!

 

Super stoked! On the rack now getting lowered! Anybody with H&R chime in on the ride.. Suspension is stiff now. Being lower I am sure will only make it that much better...

Much stiffer!! Watch out for dips, railroad tracks, potholes, driveways lol. It'll get better as you put more miles on it though and I try to avoid shitty roads all together.

 

All that black might be a liiittlee bit too much. The knight rider look can only be pulled off by one man!!

 

Hey man the only thing not black on my car are the tail lights! lol
