i love both cars, but i think the gt2 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, so id rather have the porsche

 

personally id rather rock the gt2 JUST because its a porsche and a lot of people wouldnt notice that the ZR1 is as bad ass as it is..too many people would think its just another vette..when in all reality..it couldnt be farther from it..

I'm a Corvette man through and through so I'd take the ZR1. Then again, I actually look at cars instead of "OMG, it's a Porsche!".

 

never been a fan of the Porsche.

 

i just kinda feel like every porsche looks alike. every model seems to look the same. which i guess is what they are going for, but i just prefer the zr1.

on paper, there are many better cars for the money. on a paved road, nothing compares.

for the price of a zr1, i'd probably get one of these.

 

I want both, but I probably would take..... IDK... Probably the ZR1 just for it's insane power, and there are so many Porsche's on the road that they aren't really that unique or turn heads so it faces the same predicament that the Vette has.

Very true, very true, I didn't realize till the other day that that car was well over a million dollars! I was thinking it was only a half million for some reason, oh well..

 

Price being no object? Id park both of them in my garage full of tri fives, 66-73 muscle cars and modern performance monsters. If i had the money for just one, Zr1. Corvettes do it for me. I dont care what other people notice first, Id rather have the Corvettes body for me.

 

I would definetly take the porsche anyday over the corvette.

 

Id take the ZR1. Chevrolet didnt build its company on the Deaths of over millions of people like Porche did.

 

The GT2 is just so much more car, It costs twice as much, but it is truly an amazing vehicle. Besides, just breathe on it and it can gain 100+whp, it has a ton of potential. Still looks better than the Vette, and comes with better "image" as a high-end car compared to any Corvette variant. I love corvettes, but if you take the price out of the picture, the GT2 is insane. Or a GT3RS, any time, any where, I would drive one.

 

ZR1 is far better in overall performance, almost if not better overall than any other production car.

 

ZR1 hands down. I've always loved vettes. My dad had 3 of them by time I was 13 and I got to drive his '02 C5 when I was 15 (with no permit or driver's license haha) and I almost crapped my pants haha.

Looked like a real shitty launch with the ZR1 and poor pavement. Said the ZR1 did the 1/4 in 12+ seconds, when it's rated for 11.3. That guy needs a driver mod, me thinks.

In this test the ZR1 runs a 12.0 quarter, but if I'm not mistaken the claimed GM figure is 11.1... Car and Driver ran 11.3. Porsche claim 11.2 for the GT2; it runs 11.8 here. And of course in Motor Trend's test, the ZR1 beat GT2 from a dig...

These cars are a damn good match.

 

11.8 for the gt2 is SLOOW. 12.0 for the zr1 is SLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.....OWWWWW!

 

Why do the fanboi's always have to bring up the SSC and the Konissegg or whatever it is. Those aren't real world cars. I've seen a couple ZR1's on the street, as well as numerous GT2s. Those little boy dream cars aren't a comparison for anything, as no-one really has them, drives them, or races them. They are trophy cars for people with too much money to park them in a garage and talk about them, or kids who could never afford one anyway to say "oh yeah, well, i'll get an SSC Aero, then I'll beat you"
