Do they make universal keyfobs?

I've got an 07 cobalt, and i'm wondering, do they make universal remotes for the keyless entry/start that are a bit cooler than what the stock one is? I've never heard of it but it'd be interesting to know.

No.

Why? Because if they made a "universal" keyfob it would completely ruin the entire purpose of having a keyfob in the first place.

Actually this is not a stupid question being if you loose yours, you go to the dealer and can get a new one, the new one is programmed to your car.

So if someone sells them I would assume that it may be a STD GM/FORD/DODGE one if at all.

But good idea if not already done.
