Need opinions here. I have a 09 Summit White TC and want to get the rims powder coated. I called today and got a quote for bronze and gunmetal. What do u guys think I should go with?

I know gunmetal will look sick but bronze is a hit or miss with me. Some cars like the Nissan GT-R with bronze rims and lowered looks flat out amazing. But could also look horrible too.

The bronze color came out to mbe $75 a rim, and the gunmetal was $120 a rim. What should I choose?

 

Damn that's a lot. I can get a 18x8 blasted and PCed for about 30-40 a rim for any color.

Bronze and white are a win IMO.

 

ya that's pretty expensive. i do powdercoating on the side and $50 a wheel is what i charge, sandblast, clean, and coat. but if i were you id do gunmetal or like a gunmetal metallic.

 

Thats the first place I called, theres a few more places around here but I cant look at any of their work on their site like this places. And they do an amazing job, I was gonna have them do my rims, valvecover and charge pipes.

 

Gun metal or bronze........ Thats my vote.

Well I think the bronze might win. $120 for some gunmetal is just too much. For all that I might as well buy some new rims. But I might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, so Im gonna keep looking. I just want a color that will go good with white and eventually a carbon fiber hood and trunk.

White is gonna look horrible. Trust me op just go with gunmetal or black. Then maybe a white pinstripe. Yeah! Would look sex!

 

I think Im just gonna go with the bronze. Its cheaper to do and I think it looks better on a white car!
