The spoiler for me has been love/hate since day one . Finally took it off . I like it ALOT better without . It took a fews days to get used too the rear just looked naked . Ive got a low LS spoiler lined up , hopefully that'll look decent . Kinda diggen the wingless look at the moment .

I love the look. It makes the car apear to be lower and sleeker.

 

anything to make the car look lower. i parked next to my friends 99 eclipse and we were sitting in her car and i looked over at my cobalt and it looked like a pick up truck from her car it was so tall. haha

I think that the SS/SC should either have the stock wing or go wingless. I don't care for the LS spoiler but I love the wingless look!

I think you should put on the RK Sport low profile spoiler.

you certainly did and SHORTBUS got me onto the sportlines springs. check out my CARDOMAIN LINK for tons of photos. the lock is gone, wing is gone, I don't need no stink'in badges. the antenna is shaved too.

Springs have arrived, just got to pick them up. should get my Raptor Shift light this week as well. still thinking about what performance mods I should do. that is what the pole is about.

I am the first wingless COBALT SS/SC in Manitoba Canada. I am sure of that.

Thanks for all your ideas and bravery to make mods that I can learn from. hopefully I can improve on them or comeup with my own ideas. usually what happens is I get an idea, look around for others who may have done it and find I wont be the first one.

ME TOO(RK SPORT 3 PIECE SPOILER)

 

I really gave this spoiler SERIOUS thought . Overall I think its a really cool spoiler . But , the one thing I dont like about it , is I think the 2 side pieces stick out too much . The angle of the 2 side pieces is "alittle" odd too not matching strong stock body line that flares up to the decklid coupled with the odd line of the rear bumper cover . Pretty sure Im gonna stay wingless , and actually may switch to regular SS rear bumper cover too . I love the look of the blacked out valance down where the exhaust is .

I was thinking it for a little while before you did it, but was unsure if it would look good. You just proved to all of us that it does.

 

That looks hot man. Im going to mod my stock wing a bit my self and see if I like that or not.
If it dosnt work out its coming off.

SilverSS/SC, I am going to do my headlights like yours though because they look a lot cleaner than my Headlight Armor Smoke Tint on the car right now.
