so i went to get gas tonight and i saw the gas attendant taking my gas cap and completely put it on the top of the pump. what the hell happened to that rubber cable that held it on? i took a look at where it should go and i dont know what went wrong. i dont know if im missing something or what but i cant get it back to normal. any help?

 

On the arm for the gas door, there should be a hole that you plug the other end of the cable into to hold it there.
