Brentwood Mall. Yes this is a go with the plan to include pictures and a bite to eat while getting to know one another.
We can then drive to

1) Stanley Park through the city, maybe even end at Ambleside park, West Van for pics with the ocean\Stanley Park as our background, or

2) cruise to Squamish as previously suggested

We should be flexible which to do depending on who all shows up as some guys may want to flex some hp on the twisty's of the highway. I have checked and construction on the sea to sky is definitely not happening on the weekends.

As for auto canceling because of the rain I would say no. If we wait for a sunny Sunday in BC that may be a while and some are booking off work to make it on the 7th. Besides it can be raining in Maple Ridge but not Surrey, then be raining in Burnaby and not in Abbotsford or Vancouver. We locals all get the picture.

He's got a point. You could be the guinea pig to top speed with stage two. With the higher rev limiter I would be interested to see how fast you could get going before you run out of gear.

Also, i'm going with some guys from way back in my Nissan phase (:red:) and there's a couple decent cars ( rhd silvia s13, 240sx w/ SR20DET, and a couple turbo KA's )...i dunno how you guys would feel with some import invasion but it might make for some nice "outside opinions" and photo ops :)

Anyways, i'll defnitely try to make it back in time cuz sounds like we're gonna get pretty decent attendence at the meet :cssNET:

If the only way to get you there is for the imports to come with you then bring them along. We are all friendly as I assume they are too. We will just put them in the front or back of the line for our cruise.

I let the boyfriend drive my car today as it had to go to the dealership. When I bought it a couple of weeks ago the shifter had scratches and I asked for it to be replaced. Today was the day for that. My boyfriend said he got a lot of looks at my car:) I guess you don't see nice yellow cars that often.

I went out for a drive tonight and it was great:) I'm debating on driving to work tomorrow, friday's usually aren't too bad for traffic. (I work downtown vancouver)

The 2.5 Altima has 177 Horsepower, so i'd say he'd kick my ass.

He's driven both cars and he finds that the response on the altima is much better than the pursuit and the difference in horsepower isn't much.

I still love my car though:) It's tons of power for me:) (I have a major lead foot)

Before my boyfriend took ownership of his Altima, he had a 2003 Hyandai Tiburon. Sold the Tiburon and actually got a 2005 350Z. Drove that for a day and really didn't like it (likes the look but just not practical for what he needs it for) and returned the 350Z for the Altima. He's going to be 28, we are settling down in our relationship and the Altima is a more practical car.

I came from a vibe/matrix and having dogs I was wanting a sedan and the only thing on the radar for me was the ultima, nissan has my favorite lineup of vehicles, to me they have good quality and the most powerful engines of all the jap manufactures:twothumbs

I do not race either, I just love good torque and the g5 has that for me like others on the board I just like to be the first of the line and out of the pack. on a side note I'm a boring guy who pretty much devotes all my time to my dog and doing anything that involves being outdoors:cool:

hey Pegasus I forgot to mention if you are tinting your car the dot matrix on the back window and tint do not get along very well, there is a thread or two about it on the foum, probaly in appearance. I did mine it looks great except for a few inches aroung the top of the back window
