I want to set something local up. Maybe a night at Speedworld, something more than 3-4 cobalts.. Im thinking along the lines of more people in genral, I am already trying to get a few of my friends to go. A wrx guy and a 240sx guy.. Anyways, im just seeing how many people would acctually be interested.. i dont have an exact date yet but, it will be a week or two out to give room for planning.

Everybody is invited, bring some people so it wont be boring. All cobalts welcome.. etc.

I also have a 240 friend that I may be able to get in. He's got a B20 swap out...sounds mean as hell and should be able to run with our cars. (he's only a tick slower than my other friend's 350Z)

 

weekends are always good , a cruise would be nice maybe on some good mountain roads or somethin

I want to go, but speedworld isn't exactly "local" for me, I'm not quite but pretty much FLAT ASS BROKE!!! It takes almost a half a tank there and back not including gas used during racing. Then again, I ran my car at firebird and embarassed myself, so if bulldog helps me out with some stuff, I most likely will be there and just suffer the consequences later (what can I say I'm a kid).

Wow, so there are a quite of few peoples interest it looks like! Great. Thats perty cool, this will be an awesome turnout if everybody shows up! So, lets try and figure out some dates, I say we plan a little ahead, something maybe a week - 2 weeks out, so everybody can plan for it. And not have to worry about on the spot decisions.. I dont work on Saturdays or Sundays, so I am up for any weekend. Any thoughts?

yeah sounds like you guys are way out there! I live on Bell and Grand basically... so the track is literly around the corner maybe a 10min drive... LOL. Im thinking either a Saturday or Sunday, most people dont work Sundays, and last trip we went on was on a Sunday, and we had a good turn out. So I say preferably on a Sunday? Just a thought im still up for any day though. So this is what we have here:

Sunday the 21st sounds like a winner to me. I've never dragged either, but by then I should feel comfortable enough to make a couple hard launches without fear of torching my clutch.

I already beat you to it , I put an LS1 in my car and converted to rear wheel drive

 

dude im puttin this sweet quad turbo, dual supercharged system. estimated 8,000 whp, I think it will even work with the stock head gasket! After all it will only be putting out like 80psi. Plus i'll be running a 400 shot of nitrous.

 

Oh boy I get to race on my birthday.. I just hope nothing comes up on that day. I guess im up for it, but thats a 80% chance for me. Supposed to go to Vegas, but dont know if thats going to happen or not. Ill keep you guys updated

 

Vegas is highly over rated in my books.
