Well, i finally ordered a set of sportlines today for my cobalt ss/tc. After the long debate i have been having over getting lowered.
Im excited and they will be here thursday....woooot woooot no more 4x4 lmao.
I paid $320 taxes in for them.
After seeing stu's car, i fell in love (thanks stu).

I to am also debating this for my tc! As you I hate the 4x4 look and my friends always remind me of this haha!(they are all on coilovers). But I dont want the ride to be horrible with these. How is the ride? Have you driven in a TC with sportlines?
I cant warrant the price of coilovers, because I just want the apperance, never plan on autocrossing, but I dont want a rough ride, or at least to rough of a ride.

yeah, no matter what car im in now when i see a highway bump (usually overpasses) or see a pothole or rough patch, i usually cringe.
its a real rough ride but once you eat your first corner, the rough ride doesnt seem so bad.

i donno what kind of springs these guys are on but i dont really find the ride nearly as bad as i thought it was gonna be first when i did the install and it looks and handels like your on rails......
I don't find the sportlines rough at all. I prefer it over stock.
Glad to here you got some Jarren. Are you working saturday? I work until 1:00pm. If you want to meet me around then, we'll put the springs on up on the lift then get her all lined back up.

yea i got sportlines too, i cut the bump stops in the back but the dealership didnt do the same to the front (since i didnt have air tools i let them do the front). But it was still rough as hell..handling is so much better and worth it tho. Probably even better on the ss/tc cuz they handle better then the ss/sc anyways
