There was rain in the forecast all last weekend for this area too and we didn't end up getting much of anything until Sunday afternoon. :lol:...I'll answer the question anyways in case you're back over the summer or somethin'. It's anywhere between a 30 and 45 minute drive depending on how many nimrods you run into on the highway. Highbury seems to be the best bet...Wellington is so full of curves and lights it's nutts...makes for one hell of a drive at 120km/h plus though :twothumbs.

Sorry Sean I didn't get back too you...I installed the shifter myself seeing you instructed me it turned out well no problems just a little with the cables going back into the new B&M shifter could get reverse gear but figured it out and it works awesome! Thank for the information too help the install go smooth.....How was the track??? What did all you guys run??? :cool:

Hey not a problem...made it easier for everyone to enjoy the racing rather than wondering if someone had jacked your things had you left them sitting in the grass. That trunk holds a lot more than I thought it would. I'm hoping to get down to TO at least once this summer and maybe crash overnight (or at lesat make it for a meet) so I might just have to take you up on that beer :cool:.

My times were sad.... I could hook ok (2.1 sixty foot) normally aspirated and ran a 13.6 @ 104 mph. I never figured out how to run w/o spinning on the nitrous and only hit 13.0 @ 115 mph with the 100 shot. The power is there for mid 12's - the car just needs a driver who knows what he is doing!

Im not sure what Sean's best time was so I will let him fill everyone in. I was really impressed with Jerry's time in a bone stock cobalt ss.. mid 14's @ 98 mph. Our friend with the 05 mustang ran mid 13.6 @ 105. The other camaro that came with us ran 12.9 @ 111 mph. One of the guys running a cobalt accused him of spraying on that run.. but it was on the motor. Later, he actually did use the spray and did a 12.2 @ 121 mph(!!!) on a 100 shot.

I think the track announcer almost had a fit when he hit the 12.2 with a "street legal" Camaro :lol:. When I went along with Jerry for his final run that was my first time in an SS/SC under full throttle for a longer distance...man can they haul ass :bow:.
