just going to throw this out there. im not sure the 245's in an 18 will fit without clearance issues. you may have to run a spacer

245-40-18's will fit. They rub a little when turning sharply, but not bad.

Wheel hop FTL. Invest in mounts or a smaller rim setup before you invest in axles

Everyone else with 245-40-18 mt here has said they do not rub including hahn's car so are you lowered or what? Was thinking of using these now don't know. Any one know for sure if they rub or not on stock suspension when turning?

So what other DR's should I buy then? I believe the NT01's are a very good DR.

Droping rim size to 16" or even 15" will give you more sidewall in the tire to flex on. Its not so much the tire itself but the size. Think about when you see a topfuel car launch in slow-mo. The side of the tire wrinkles conforming to the ground. If you had a low profile tire on there, the sidewall wont absorb as well.

nt01's are not a dr genius.

straight from direct tire.

"The NT-01 features a racing-inspired tread compound formulated for on-track performance to deliver extreme cornering power for fast and consistent track times."

you need to do some research

Just so you know, I know plenty of guys running the NT01 for drag racing and love it!! And if you're such a damn genius, than what tire would you buy if you were me, but still keeping the stock wheels????
