Check out Westers Garage in southern Alberta. He is working on cracking the PCM and with that you can do more than stage 2 or Rev it Up can, if the plan is to spend $5,000. I am doing a build that will significantly increase HP of course to do it you won't have anything left for sound upgrades but the stereo is good enough. More power, need more power, must have more power:lol:

Nice mods!!!!!
Got some nice goodies coming. You are going to love the cm's fx300, very tough clutch with great drivability.
The pcm is the key, tuning it yourself is the way to go.
Flashes are conservative.
Mrmaasta 04-25-2006, 12:52 AM Dropped my Stage II kit off at my dealer so they could have a study of it, as they havn't done one yet. I went with GM, to keep as much of my warranty intact and still get noticable gains.

Are you using an FX300 or no someone who is? I hear that it's on strong clutch. And as for the mods I am hoping that the show up just after the PCM is cracked. Sadly as a little boy waiting for Christmas, this can never be soon enough;)
Jekyl 04-25-2006, 01:28 AM wow victory, those are some good mods, im gonna have to start ordering up some more shit just to keep up.
As for original poster, I think you should go for GM stage two, With Intense, your still stuck with the 6500 rev limit and a piggy back system and limited to go further. With time our PCM will be cracked and we will be able to tune on top of our Stage 2 kits and other mods....

I'm using it,yes.
Need a good clutch to try snagging gears at 8800 rpm.
The feel is great, and it's not too stiff, just real short.

Well I am going to be going to Edmonton via Red Deer\Calgary shortly after the build so you better get on it before I get there:lol:

Sounds good. I look forward to getting mine but it has to wait till the engine is out for the build. To cheap to do that twice;)
Gramps 04-25-2006, 03:28 AM Intense is plug and play, so you can take it off if you ever had problems. He chevypowered, you gotta send me some sound clips of the corsa exhaust when you get it :twothumbs

I'll get some good ones and post em up here for everyone to hear, I can't wait to hear it myself!!:guns:
If you want big power at a good price, go for Intense Stage III. If you wan't a decent increase in power and peace of mind with warranty, get GM stage II.
Personally, since GM makes performance parts for our cars, I'd rather keep it all GM. Plus with the warranty, I don't have to worry about it breaking since it has been tested to meet GM specifications. The Intense kit really hasn't been out long enough to know if there will be any long term engine reliability or other issues. That said, the ECOTEC is a bulletproof engine that takes a kickin and keeps going!
CalgarySS 04-25-2006, 08:18 PM thanks alot guys, and to last post about intense not knowing enough aboput, i think im gonna get the warrantied GM stage 2 kit, and so i will feel save having it in my car. thanks for the advice.
Nuclear 04-25-2006, 08:48 PM The best part about the GM kit is the warranty and performance
