Anyone have a tinted windshield?

i recently got a ticket and had to make the 2 front windows legal, as it sits now i have double layered 5% in the back 3 windows, and 35% on the front 2, and IMO it looks ******* terrible....mismatched tint has always bugged me and with 35% i can barley tell its tinted...

so im looking in to tinting the windshield with 35% and leaving my front 2 at 35 also...that should make the front 2 look a little darker and darken up the windshield a little bit...

i know ive heard of some balts with windshield tints but am curious to see how dark 35% would look on the windshield considering my back 3 are so dark.

so if you have a tinted windshield can you post up a pic...espically if you have it 35%

and if i were to get a lower quality metalized tint, would that look darker than a dyed/non metalized tint?

yea its illegal but people do it anyways. my buddy has 45% or like 40% on his truck and you can tell it tinted untill your in there and the sun is shining at you, it really helps.

i have 25% all around and a 5% visor. IMO it looks nice. some people don like tint visors...
but if you tint the whole window, if you do like 40% you cant even tell unless your inside at like sunset or dusk. from outside in the middle of the day you cant tell at all.

35 on the windshield isnt very noticable, espically with such a light tint on the passanger windows

yea i didnt like visors until i got 5% on the side windows, if its big enough, it really helps on making the side windows look darker...

yes it really does. thats one reason why i like mine. another reason is i dont have to reach up and pll down my actual visor lol.
it is kinda hard to see stop lights in the daytime though lol. mine is about 3 inches past the AS1 line

this thread is just stupid, if your going to put illiegal tint on the windshield then just keep your illegal tint on the front sides. illegal is illegal

Put titanium tint on your windshield. It will not affect visibility from inside but will still look dark from the outside and cut out sun light. I personally have 16% titanium tint on my windshield.

If it's illegal to tint your windshield in your state, get a note from your optometrist saying that it's necessary for proper visibility.

Just a little FYI.

My friend has 20% on all his windows and 50% on his windshield and it really is dark enough. Tinted windshield are ******* terrible in the rain too. You can't see ****. I would really just get 20% all around and if I was really going to do the windshield I would just get the visor. People can see inside your car if the whole thing is tinted at 35% anyway so why even do it at all? If it's just to block some sun out then just get the visor.

you're going to make police officers very nervous with a tinted windshield....image a cop walking up to a car after pulling it over and not being able to see in the car, the passengers, or the driver at all. i'd be shitting my pants; for all the cop knows you have a gun

dont do it...its asking for trouble and it makes cops nervous as **** i'm sure

That's why its always good to turn on all your interior lights on when you get pulled over. It shows you're not hiding anything.
