Zdeuce4's gt30r turbo build

2.4 section is lookin a bit dead, so since im installing my turbo setup this fri and saturday i figured id post some progress... here's the parts i picked up from Maven a few weeks ago and some of the stuff ive added as well...

stuff i got from maven was pretty complete but i needed to get fittings and lines so i could use the water cooled portion of the turbo..

things i added to the setup are:
Glowshift boost and vacuum gauges
Innovate lc-1 wideband
bov
3 gauge a pillar

Idk wut psi the spring in the wastegate is, so ill find out then. im hoping its a 5 or 7 and not the 10 so i can have @ or around 250 whp so i dont blow out my clutch so fast lol. either way im taking it easy as the checks come in. spec 3+ clutch is my current choice as of now. once i get the clutch in im using a www.cimotorsports.net boost controller and prolly upping it to 12 psi or so. I'm currently a trifecta dealer so that's my method of choice for tuning as well...

I went ahead and installed my gauges so theyd be ready for friday so heres a pic

the glowshifts are pretty nice.

i had an oil pressure gauge originally but i started to read all the threads on the install process.. needless to say it "appeared" hard so i exchanged it for the voltmeter, but i will be replacing it with an interceptor after i get the clutch. lol such a noob swap i know. i discovered later that the oil pressure gauge install really isnt that hard.

plus i have a bit of audio and hids and all that.. dont wanna kill my battery lol

lets us know how it goes. i am a little bit knowledgeable about cars, but would not feel comfortable by myself doing this. are you getting help?

if i could find a person around here to help, i would be a lot more confident to do it, maybe start buying parts now. all i need is the 1 time with help, then i should be good forever...im a quick learner

Sweet build man, have fun with it. Did you get a deal on the GT30 or something? That's a big turbo for a max of 12PSI, a little K03 or GT2560 would have made 12PSI practically off idle with your 2.4, heh.

itll be like my first and last turbo basically it should be enough to get me wut i want down the road after the rebuild. 12 max is BEFORE rebuild
