Just a heads up for anybody that is interested. Redlines are planning a cruise on Sunday the 21st of May. Location: unknown for the time being....will keep everybody updated if there is any interest.

 

I think the coby owners around here are planning on goin to the track that day .

 

Yeah I thought I had read something like that. Isn't the track closed on Sunday thought? I'm not sure.

 

I guess they mean . . . Speedworld, was it? In the northwest valley, I guess it's open Sunday. Could be a cruise *to* the track!

I dunno, never been there. The guy that lives up there said it's open and usually slow. If that's the case, it would bring a whole new meaning to my Sunday drives.

 

Well I don't know how slow it is I hate sitting in line for over and hour reminds me to much of my daily commute....never been there on a Sunday. Well for those of you who would rather go on a cruise let me know....If we don't get enought RL's to show interest we might just join you guys at the track. To early to tell.

 

Just an update for the 21st of May cruise if any of you are interested. East side Redlines are meeting up in the Taco Bell parking lot in Superstition Springs mall. North and North West is yet to be (determend). Hmm thats not how you spell that? Oh well to lazy to run Word. The trip will be to Canyon Lake...which I now realize is Tortilla Flats. I have never been there and neither have a few of us so thats were we are going. Again your all welcome to join us.

now whats the definition of "cruise"? Is it, nice cruise seein the sights, feelin the wind, enjoin the weather. Or is it, HEAVY METAL 130 MPH THROUGH A WINDY ROAD FLYING PAST OTHER CARS AND TRYIN TO SET A RECORD OF THE QUICKEST TRIP FROM THE VALLEY TO TORTILLA FLATS!!!?

I called it cruise for that reason. The Payson "Run" was fun however, we all know what happend to OniMirage. But hey if you wan't to be our pigeon....by all means.

 

I don't think we even came close to triple digits on the last Tortilla Run. I would deffinatly not recomend it. Payson on the other hand... I tried to stay behind with the camera. The little LS that could topped out at 105.

i THINK i would be down for a cruise but I gotta be careful how i ask the gf cus I could be in a world of trouble if not done correctly ... I have been thinking of various ways to keep us from getting into a situation like I was in but it would take some cooperation and sacrifice. as far as location, I wanna be as far off from any major road as possible so we can get good video footage cus the stuff we have been getting is basically cut n paste with little artistic direction ... i know im a image nerd but im sure you have all seen the stuff I have been able to come out with both still and motion

 

That would be awsome if you can make it Eric! Yeah think hard how to ask. Just say something like its a small meet just a few blocks from ya. LOL Don't you live in Mesa? So really its not that far...unlike us North guys. Good luck though.

 

actually i live on the south side close to tempe distance is of no concern its just getting there in one piece without the gf destroying me thats the issue
