Exclamation Testing: New Aluminum Water Tank For Added Coolant ("Stu Mod")

So I'm testing this out and seeing if there would be a market for this. VERY easy to install. Looks VERY clean. No chance of leaks (my current/old setup had a micro leak that I could never resolve). Sturdy, durable, sexy (IMO) and best of all, nice big opening if you want to drop in some ice to help w/ IAT's on track day. Possibly could have an option for a 1/4"NPT to the top to connect to the stock h/e's bleeder to make it option B + additional coolant/water. I prefer to run straight distilled water in the summer w/ a small bit of coolant to aid in lubrication of the water pump's moving parts. But, on with the pics!

To put on a threaded fitting to the heater hose for a secure fit and easy removal if needed

One thing that should be questioned however is whether or not this will work with motor mounts. Whether it be the ingalls or the solid from ttr, or whatever else you might have. Will it fit with this? Just something to note.

It will not interfer with a solid mount (TTR's anyway) and the ingalls may be an issue. But, the ingall's in inferior to the solid mount IMO, so this would be a good reason to upgrade

So, anyone want to donate an Ingall's for me to try?

Well, you need to extend the line's w/ heater hose from the endplate. The endplate side will be barbed fittings (not sure if they will be included, but they are <$1 each at a local hardware store). Then you would use the fittings I posted to connect the hose to the tank, which will probably be included w/ the tank. Those are female on one end and barbed on the other. No issues

yeah it is. the only thing i've found that works with the stage2 mounts is when i machined and redesigned the TTR upper mount.

wait......so you have the stage2 mounts. and say you're too lazy to just take off the ingalls. but want this product to be designed to fit the the ingalls on there???? interesting.

not to lazy just diddnt think it was hurting anything so diddnt do it. and i dont want it to be designed to fit with the ingalls could really care less about the ingalls. was just saying if he needed it for testing, like he asked if someone had them, he could use mine.
