If this gets locked ill make a post in classifieds. Ok so as i stated in my build thread i only made 281whp...not very impressed. The last few months i been leaning towards getting a 350z or a 370z. So tonight after the dyno i went to a nissan dealership. They let me take out a brand new 370z Sport version with the S Series mod which rev matches the transmission. This car is awesome. Very fast for a stock car, handles amazing...feels amazing...i love it. So i havent decided which version i want...gotta talk to the manager tomorrow. Either im going to get the 370z sport (which i drove today) or the 370z touring with the nizmo package...i can basically tell them what i want and i get it...lol. They havent given me a total price yet...depends what i want and how much my cobalt is worth...but somewheres in the ball park of $47,000 and i was already approved. Tomorrow im bringing the cobalt in for them to give me a price of what its worth. Assuming everything goes good ill be stripping the cobalt in the next few weeks. So ill be selling what i can...this is just a feeler for now.

So lets start off with the crown jewel....

-Harrop TVS Supercharger, stock 80mm pulley - Less then 1000km on it - $1500 Sold to BlueCobalt

-Ingalls Torque Damper - $75

-Gen 1 Halo Lights with 8000k HID - $300 Pending sale

-SS underhood cover - $40 Pending Sale

How much power were you expecting?

 

You should be getting more who than 281 out of that set up.

i was expecting 300whp. The AFR was abit lean...went to 13.0 by 4000rpm...they said there wideband on the dyno reads abit leaning so it was roughly 12.5...but even that wont get me to my goal. Even if it did, i put alot of money to only get that much...**** it, not worth it.

yea i can do that. i still have my m62 so i can just swap it out and get re-tuned...sorry steve looks like u might have more work ahead of u

On another note, I've been tempted to trade the Cobalt for something more "upscale" but I'm already pissy about being stuck with over 20k worth of loan to pay off, sure don't want 40+...yuck.

 

no sorry i dont have a extra set of tails...gonna have to strip the night shade off my car for the dealership. Yea i gotta see how the dealership is doing that with my car...still $14000 left to pay on it (finance) so iiunno.

 

Just an FYI, I got just over $13,000 when I traded in my SS/SC at a local Chev dealer for my '09 SS. Luckily I had paid extra money to GM over the months and had less owing on the car than that.

 

Yea the guy at the nissan dealership told me i wont get much for the car since all the issues dealerships r having these days...but im heading out now to see what i can get.

Ok so went to the dealership. Apparently i still owe $20,000 on the cobalt...but i got a letter in the mail like 5 months ago that i only owed $17,000 left...but anyways. Bank is reviewing it now...awaiting approval. $60,000 total. Got the 09 370z Sports version...has the Sync Mod to rev match on down shifts. Tinted windows, HID's...18" rims with low pro tires. 500km on the car. They asked me if i wanted the extended warrenty...i said no because what i have planned will void the warrenty....Twin Turbo FTMFW!!!!. That wont happen anytime soon. Anyways its 328hp @7000 stock...i didnt bother getting the dual K&N intake or exhaust system since im trying to lower the price as much as i can. Car doesnt have a key which i found awesome, has a remote which has to be in the the car or close to it and u push a button. If u push the button and the remote isnt near the car, it stalls. It also has the 3MD tape stuff on the front bumper,hood, mirrors to protect it from rocks and whatnot. Also getting a protection plan on it. For 8 years i can get it paint protected, undercoated, rust protection, leather protection. If something happend i bring it in and it gets fixed for free. Also got the tire/rim protection...so if i get a flat and it ***** the tire/rim up...they give me a new one for free.

So ill be ripping the cobalt apart starting tonight (assuming im approved). Should be fun...anyways...picture time!

doesnt have brembos...for some reason they changed brembos to nissan sport brakes....350z has brembos all the 370z have nissan sport brakes

yup...my car along with another 370z are in the parkade..then they have 3 370z and 2 350z outside.
