Well shorter hangers...But my friend Cuda on here cant seem to find any poly urethane ones yet. I test drove his car (lowered with hahn cat back) before he did any fixes and it was clunking like a ****. He did some ziptie fix and it still hit.

I have contacted CP-E (custom performance engineering, they are huge in the mazdaspeed/bmw crowd) to see if they can fab up some parts. They should be getting their test vehicles soon.

You people want loud? WHY?

I have Hahn and its so quiet compared to the loud and rice exhaust I have heard lol
I have a 3inch open DP from hahn, and their exhaust, its sounds AMAZING when down shifting and great at WOT and hard acceleration but just cruising around it is very quite, louder then stock of course but I am sayig its not out of controll, some people want loud, WHY I dont know lol

Is the 3 inch exhaust really worth the money? 2.5 seems suffice. IMO the power gain from the exhaust isnt worth the cash, unless youve exhausted every other power gain mod. thread/ over.

You're probably closer to my age. I forget how popular this car is with young people that like LOUD exhausts. I remember liking the loud **** when I was younger, so I don't fault them for it. Of course, in my day, it was all V-8 stuff with about the same hp.

Once the learn down is removed by installing the Stage 1 kit, how much performance gains can you expect to see by getting the Hahn exhaust? It really doesn't seem like it is worth the money because the stock exhaust is pretty decent.

I would keep the stock downpipe and just do a catback exhaust....

did you end up getting another one? or did you go back to stock? im worried about rubbing but i guess i can customize it. I just cant justify spending 7 bills on CIA's exhaust, but they are a great company and i love how it sounds. im torn between 2.

there is no gain from the catback exhaust on this car. its just for sound. The gain is from the downpipe. Unless you want a different sounding car spend the money on other HP parts, intake, downpipe, charge pipe, tune.

Is that just because the stock exhaust is pretty decent?

Would there be any advantage to getting the Hahn catted DP? Will it still be completely legal and pass emissions?

im thinking of going with a borla turbo muffler with center inlet and offset outlet, my buddy has one on his tc and it sounds good. I figure where mine has a 3" cia downpipe that it would sound pretty sweet
