Not Work Safe RPM Slow To Drop Between Shifts

Hey just wondering if anyone was having the same problem, 06 cobalt 2.2 man trans, when i push in the clutch to shift gears it seems to take a while for the rpms to come down,

it could be just be the car. my 06 ss 2.4 manual trans does that too and i really don't think there's anything that can be done

It's just the car dude mine does the same thing. I actually have had times where they'll sit at 1500 until i come to a complete stop and then drop down to normal idle.

I agree...just the car. Then again if you shift fast enough, there really won't be much time for 'em to drop off anyway.
