General Exclaim UHP ?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Anybody know if they're any good ? I've seen good reviews but they're not very expensive which makes me a tad bit worried.

I do quite a bit of driving on the highway. I need something that performs (and lasts) longer than the Conti's, especially in wet conditions (ie: hydroplaning). Reading the reviews, they seem to be a good compromise between wet and dry conditions. I had never really heard of them before so I dunno...

They are much better than the stock Conti's I had on my LS, but that's to be expected.

I drive 100 miles daily (mostly highway) and don't have any complaints so far with about 3,000 miles on them. They are very good in wet conditions

They aren't very grippy from what I have heard. They are good in the rain though. If you don't push your car very hard, they will be fine. If you want something stickier than what you have now, you won't be happy with them.

Not to take over the thread what do you suggest for a cheap tire that is good in the rain and has good stickiness.

Nitto Invo's if you want a tire with low tread noise, good wet and dry grip at a decent price. That's what I have right now. They don't have a crazy stiff sidewall either, so the ride quality is great.

If price is no issue and you don't mind a bit of tire hum, BFG KDW's are a good option also.

Nitto Neo gen's are an awesome "bang for your buck" tire also from I have read in reviews.

Im curious on how the General Exclaim UHP hold up to the TC's power. I like the 380 rating. they should last a season and a half (fingers crossed)
