And i guess i will spill the beans....

I just got an 08 SS/TC myself... and i already own HP Tuners from my Cavalier build.

my 2 best friends also have 08 Cobalt SS/tc's...

So for the cost of registering our 3 cars (delta-body cars cost $100 each), i can get a umbrella package that allows me to tune any 08 cobalt SS ($300 for a model/year license)....

So basically... If i knew any other people in the area who wanted a lil tuning on the 08 SS... I could hook them up pretty cheap.

As of right now i am ITCHING to tune mine.... but my 2 friends are dragging their feet... afraid of warranty issues, and tinkering with their new car..

So i just dont want to drop $300 if i only need to spend $100.... but if i knew the interest was out there.... and i could get my $300 worth... then i will totally get the 08-SS package.

But so far i see both the local guys are already using trifecta. So that doesn't help anyone much.... yet

I would still be happy to tune an 07... and always glad to meet new friends with good tastes in cars... It is just i wont be able to give a price break to an 07 like i could with an 08.

i will help anyone tune who wants it. As long as they dont mind forking out the $100 for registration of their car.

what part of cleveland are you from?

I am in Parma/North Royalton some of the time... But i spend most of my time out in Novelty/beachwood/chagrin falls/chesterland area....

2 of my friends bought them... I think they got them for like $16k each. They got the early ones, you can hardly tell there was any damage at all. I guess alot of the other ones were pretty well sandblasted.

Well i think i am going to go ahead and order the 08 hp tuners package deal. so if any of you guys want a tune.... I could probably do $75 for an 08 license, $100 for a license and basic performance tune up (added boost pressure and lower torque management)

and then we could work something out if you wanted to borrow my hpt unit to self tune... like a rental rate.

or i could help you tune it for a small fee for my time and equipment.

do you tune 08's? i have an 08 sport. pretty much all stock right now, money's still tight... i just have a K&N air box filter. gotta start somewhere.

I am far from a professional tuner. Thus i dont promise much more than basics.
My experience so far is limited to HP Tuners, and chevy cavaliers. This is my first dabble into cobalts and eco's.

Dont claim to be a tuning shop, nor do i claim to be great at anything. But i do have the equipment, a good bit of knowlegde, and willingness to help fellow american sport compact buyers.

Where are you from THC? Would be cool to meet up sometime if you are local. Always looking to meet new car guys, check out other peoples projects and bounce some ideas around.

im pretty sure norwalk is having a test and tune on friday. im planning on going and i know cmiller will prob be out there to. he has a lnf and it rips. you should stop out and do some passes with us.

also were having a dyno day on the 26th at bigshot dyno not sure if you herd about that . 50$ and you get 3 pulls .

just checked norwalks scheadule they are NOT having the tnt this friday but next friday. i think theres a group of balts going to 42 friday. may head out there
