MSR 045 vs Enkei EKM3

I was thinking about purchasing a set of MSR 045's in black with the polished lip for my silver SS/SC but am now having second thoughts. There are a few threads out there that are saying that the quality has a lot to be desired. The other rims I am considering are the enkei EKM3's which basically look the same as the MSR's except for they are gunmetal. How is the enkei quality compared to MSR? Is it worth it to pay the couple hundred extra for them?

Also, I wanted to get away from the gunmetal color of my stock rims. How much darker would you say the enkei's are compared to the stock rims?

bump

anyone have an opinion on this?

I just bought a set of MSR 045's in Hyper gray, havent got them mounted yet but they look great and dont look cheap at all. All painted wheels will chip and flake eventually, how can they not, thats like saying you wont ever get a paint/rock chip on your front bumper, if you drive the car its gonna happen.

The gunmetal of the EKM3's is darker than the stock gunmetal wheels. The quality is everything you would expect from a well known company like Enkei. Its all based on what you desire. I had to make the same decision you are facing, but you can see my choice, and I am glad I did. I have seen both wheels in person though, and I wouldnt mind the 045's, they are a close second.
