From what I have seen (with what HPT shows us) they seem to be the same...

However stock 09's are making more power than 08's. SO it could be just stuff in the background we can't see yet!

I am confused, You can send a tune through a file on the comp.? Can anyone explain how that works? and if so can someone send me the tune because my buddy has HPTuner on his lab top and he has tuned his supercharged vette and a turbocharged pontiac SF. But he doesnt know anythin bout these lnf's. So i would really appreciate someone that knows what they are doin to help a boosted bow tie brother out lol.

Lookin @ the front of the car its the left side of the IC. I dunno paid this guy that does turbo kits on old schools. figured he knew what he was doin and i realize that now my car goes into limp mode. but i am gettin a IC pipe kit by Dejon w/ legit blk hks ssq already welded on. the bov i got is a cheap peice of **** by xspower. they make the replica of the type H TurboXS. But as i said just learnin bout this car. Got a great deal on it. Brand new 08 w/ 102 miles on it fully loaded for 16,500 paint warranty was voided along w/ 74 others. all were sold for 16,500 regaurdless of options

uh yeah the BOV on this car needs to be on the hotside pipe.... which is on the right looking at the motor.

I would advice against the dejon pipes they hit and pop off all the time!

Go with Clear Image or Synapse pipes...

really that sucks cuz i was buyin them off someone thats gettin rid of the aftermarket parts and return to stock and sell cuz he is havin a kid. thats really depressing. my friend replaced the stock cold pipe with a steel pipe and tapped there own hole for the sensor and welded the flange on and hasnt had any problems but he also has a nice hks. but regaurdless i was gonna replace that cheap bov get a ic pipe kit so i can get the bov on the upper pipe. as i was sayin this guy is sellin the ic piping with the bov already on it for 285 so figured i would snag it up.
by the way i appreciate your input. its cool when ppl try and help instead of doggin on ya cuz ya dont have as much knowledge bout the subject as they do.(Reason for these sites I thought)

lol see what i am sayin then. even though they r used w/ the bov and the ic pipe kit is almost 1000 dollars and he says 285 didnt take more then that to convince me. oh and the dejon SR intake for 65 bucks i am also getting.
But i gotta head into work, can you explain to me more bout this tune? and how it works i will check and repost when i get off in the mornin.
Thanks bud

maybe I've just been lucky, but I have had zero problems with dejon fitment or performance... I hear all these stories about them coming loose or hitting the hood or other places, but ive got over 3000 miles on my piping with none of those issues... And I'm not just pushing Dejon... When I ordered and asked questions, Dave was a ***** and I wasn't happy with his people skills at all, but the product has been good!

I honeslty always hate to bag on a vendor, but I've been around Dejon products for a long time now on a couple different car platforms. They USUALLY fit like crap, and back in the day his idea of a "flange" was like 1/8". Would usually bend when you tightened it down to anything. Haven't seen anything of his in person in years so who knows. All of my experience with him was on DSM's. In general they looked home-brew, and hell the IC pipes I make myself looked better. Very hit/miss type of stuff ... usually more to the miss side.

Awhile back someone posted up one of his DP's and it was pretty hillarious fitment.

And yah, it doesn't help that hes a pretty well known jerk.

He's been in the turbo world so long, you'd think 69 different couplers would be a design no-no by now too. Oh well, I'm over it.

Here is mine, installed in about 40 minutes with basic tools without even putting the car on ramps or a jack. No fitment issues, sounds like I DID get lucky!
