Well new thread to my old one to make sure noone makes same mistakes I did. They could not get any peddle pressure after the install of my stage3 clutch and and aluminum flywheel. Dealership mechanic who is working on it owns his own transmition shop. Because he is taking the clutch and flywheel out for cheep would cost me a grand for the dealership to do it. Clutchmasters had nothing to say but well we will take a look at it when it gets here and see what the problem is. I reply with the problem is you are advertising the wrong clutch and just cost me a grand in labor so what are you going to so about that. They are going to cover the the price of the products. Once they get them back. Do not buy clutchmasters it will not work.

1 x Clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch 08+ Chevrolet Cobalt SS (243177-III) = $599.991 x Clutchmasters Aluminum Flywheel 08+ Chevrolet Cobalt SS (243178) = $399.99

i'm still wondering if the mechanic forgot about a simple detail...probably not, but it just seems odd that you'd have no clutch pedal pressure..

Dumb question, but is it possible the OP got an LSJ clutch or flywheel (even if the box says correct)? Its been a few months but I remember reading a post about having to use the throwout bearing setup depending on which car the clutch was meant for.... let me see if I can find it.

EDIT: Found the thread and it made it sound like it would still work, just you'd have peddle enguagment height issues.

I just got my clutch masters FX300 installed and I am having the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS. I can barely get the car into any of the gears from a stop and when I do, the car starts creeping like I'm letting out on the clutch peddle. I really have to put all my weight on the clutch peddle in order to get it to shift. Can someone please help me out on why this clutch is not working out or should I just get a SEPC clutch coming and return the clutch masters? Any help would be greatly apperciated!!!
