I just got

p1681-pcm fault just switched pcm with someone else last week. They were using it in there car without a problem. We had the wrong year pcm in our cars so the gas guage was backwards so we traded computers

p2135-tps voltage correlation

p2101-throttle actuator control

these 2 are irrelevant but I posted them because they are there
p0315- didnt do crankcase relearn yet

p0420- bad cat/no cat

Started a couple days ago with my brother. Now when starting it throws these codes and they come right back after clearing with interceptor. After several attempts at starting and clearing codes it now says ENGINE DISABLED and wont turn over. It also started to idle on what felt like 1-2 cyl a couple starts before the ENGINE DISABLED came on.

I still have the stock computer(unmolested) that was giving me problems in my trunk but I now have a pieced together gm stg2.

Would these codes be covered under the powertrain warranty? i.e. throttle body and/or pcm covered

edit: I believe the codes thrown on on the original computer had to do with a internal pcm fault and the throttle body. It ponly happened when cold and I could alway clear them and keep driving.

P0420 is not a bad cat for sure.

Many of us had that with aftermarket downpipes.

yes bad cat. In fact my cat disintegrated and there is nothing left inside

I see, well that's why you got the code. Same reason many get that code with a higher flowing or catless downpipe. That's essentially what you have.
