I have to move it all around sometimes to get it to go into first its like its hitting something, I have the hurst short throw on. I thought it might be a lube issue and i sprayed a bunch in there but its still doing it, whats going on here?

My stock shifter does this on my current SS/SC, and had the same on my last SS/SC too. Think I read somewhere before it's a safety feature to keep you from going into 1st while at too high of a speed, even though the shifter does do this while stopped. Works fine after doing what's mentioned above about 2nd then 1st. good luck

I have this problem occasionally, as well. It happens when I'm completely stopped. Normally, I have to go into R then into 1st. Eh...

Common problem. Usually won't do it after the car is warmed up..If you're trying above 20mph that's a problem also it almost wont let you.
