Nice looking wheel, 20's are crazy for Cobalts, tires will cost you a dime or two though.
Maybe I missed it but is that 699.00 for 4 wheels or 699.00 each?

For that, 225/30/20 is the optimum plus-sized tire. It will actually be a tad smaller overall diameter than stock 17's and 18's.

But there are much nicer rims, even in the Baccarat line.
Check out the 1130 (Passion), black with chrome inserts.

Don't go any bigger than 19's. 20's just look ridiculous on a Cobalt. Your brakes will look TINY behind them and you need to be dropped on bags or coilovers for them to look halfway decent.

Those will be 30+lbs also. That means SLOW acceleration and frequent brake jobs as well as increased stress on drivetrain components.

8.5" wide wheel is too wide for a 225/35R20 tire.......unless you want to go with the drifter look, lol. Try and find a wheel that's 7.5" wide and it will fit perfectly.

i didnt notice the 8.5 inch width.. thats a little wide..unless it had a real big offest the wheels would stick out past the fender and look rediculous.. plus ud need like a 245/35/19 or 20 tire....or even wider like a 250 or 255 which is a little much..

It's hard to find a good tire size for 20" on these cars because there's not a ton of room. 225/35R20 is stock height, so anything much taller is probably going to rub.

Wrong! 225/30/20's are closest to stock height (.2" smaller). 225/35/20's would be .6" bigger and will likely rub.

8.5 wide wheel will hit the bottom of the spring perch! 20x7.5 is the largest you can go! As for tires I hope you like riding on rubberbands

This is news to me! I am running 19"x8.5" wheels with a +38 offset and no such issues! A lot of other members have 8.5" wheels also.

Seriously OP! There are MUCH nicer wheels out there! DON'T get 20's! You WILL bend one or more at some point. They will look ridiculous also. 19's are perfect for Cobalt's!

i kno that 20's are a little big, but they are not that expensive..the ones i want.. and i have the ss/na coupe and its not even stick so theres no point of trying to put lik racing rims on it and stuff, and i tihnk all black rims on a white car would be all storm trooper-ed out, idk i tihnk i would look pretty sick

Depends on the overall wheel diameter. Go to www.1010tires.com and use their tire size calculator.

No. They won't stick out. They will actually sit 2mm further under the fender than mine. You may be at risk of hitting the spring perch or rubbing the inner fender wells.

Why are you stuck on these? Just because they are cheap? They LOOK cheap too. There are nicer wheels out there. Search "5x110" on Ebay or check out tirerack.com, discounttiredirect.com, or wheelsnext.com to name a few good sites.

If you post a picture of your car, I can help you find some good options. I looked for 6 months to find the perfect wheels for my car, so I have seen A LOT of 5x110 wheels! lol

Actually, he was just asking if they will fit!

I wouldn't risk it. They may fit, but he may have clearance issues with spring perch, fenders or fender wells. I don't think anyone has put a 20'x8.5' wheel on a Balt. I think most people with 20's have a width of 7.5" or 8".
