Cool What Do YA think 50shot??

Alright so we all know how bad nitrous can be on a car so with these mod's :
OTT Tune / 2.6pulley / 60# inj / heatX / 3'' DP High Flow Cat / STU mod
What would be the Safest shot of Nitrous for that setup??

I am prob not gonna drop nitrous in my daily driver but if i had the chance too, 4 race purpose only just wanna know what the safest setup is??

If you take all the proper precautions it shouldn't be to bad. The only thing you would need to know is how much timing you are running. You MIGHT want to pull a couple degrees of timing, but that would be it. You should be fine though.

50 shot should be fine. Make sure to get a bottle heater and all the other goodies to make a NICE kit dont run the cheapest setup you can find. Also remember to go and get retuned so you don't blow anything up.

Don't do it without a wideband also.

A decent kit is going to be a bit pricey. I recommend the dyno tune kit, I ran it for quite awhile and never had an issue, plus ottp is a great vendor =D. Grab the purge kit, bottle heater, remote bottle opener, rich/lean shut down switch *if you wanna be really safe*, window switch, and your basically set.

wet is better overall.. i ran a ~60 shot on my car when it was stock.. dry.. it loved it..

i wouldnt run nitrous on a 2.6.. if you do nitrous go back to a 2.9 or 2.8 pulley.. 2.8 + a 50 shot should be more than enough.

you should really think about just buying a ported head.. it will come out to about the same. it will be cheaper than blowing your motor. last time i checked it was around 40 bux to fill a bottle...

It costs 50-60 here.. to fill a bottle..

Dry is unsafe.. It's straight n2o w/out it's own fueling...

Go wet so that you have the extra fuel in the nitrous system itself.. To be able ensure you don't run lean...

If it's setup right... as long as your car runs fine without nitrous.. It should run just fine with a 50 shot (if it's wet)

50 shot isnt hardcore enough IMO to cut a fuel line.. its worth tuning the car for it. and you shouldnt be spraying without a wideband or a tuner monitoring everything..

*spray and pray*

meth is great. its cheaper than nitrous too.

IMO..
1. ported head
2. meth
3. pistons (coated)
4. nitrous

thats the order i would go if i had to choose.

edit. just re-read that. usually you choose one. i dont think ive ever heard of anyone running both.

do you have a dual pass yet?

def do the dual pass. you should already have it since you are runnin a 2.6. the iat's are probably crazy on your car.. cool them down and youll see the actual power the 2.6 gives you.

should be about 250 bux after getting the dual and option b.

I didn't read through all of this, but if you are going to run a 2.6 you should REALLY get some cooling mods. Also using methanol injection is a great idea with nitrous. The added octane increase from methanol injection really helps fight against detonation. Also I was going to get the DP out today but apparently I tossed out the box. So now I gotta find another box that is big enough to fit it. But either way it will go out tomorrow, sorry about the delay. You should really add your address to paypal =P.
