Zimbabwe Stage 1 T/C CBSS Kit?

So, I received an email from a Mr. William J. Smithson who had informed me of a long lost, wealthy relative of his that had just passed away. Unfortunately for him, he was left a bank note from the estate with the instruction that it must be cashed in person here in the U.S. Due to his immediate family responsibilities, there’s no way he is able to make it over here.

He’s now asking me if he can sign the note over to me, have me deposit it to my account, and send him the funds minus a small commission for my time. In exchange for doing this, he has agreed to send me package containing a 2008 Cobalt SS Stage 1 kit that’s already on sale in Zimbabwe. He has already installed another kit on his ’08 Cobalt and says it’s a blast to drive!!! He’s assured me repeatedly that it will work on my car (even though I bought it here in the US) and I will love it.

Honestly, this whole deal seems a little fishy to me…but, I think I’m going to give it a try. What do you guys think I should do?

A) I hope this was sarcasm...

If not:
B) you would take the word of a man by the name of "Mr. William J. Smithson" from Zimbabwe asking for money for a stage 1 kit? (seems interesting how from out of nowhere HE would contact YOU, Must be your lucky day :p )
when there are MANY documented cases on google of several similar transactions that have taken place where the buyer is promised a product in return yet get nothing...

its people like you that are the reason these people still attempt these ridiculous scams!

the who?

I have never replied to one of these, except to **** with the supposed seller.
How am I supposed to know if he is serious or not?
are the OP and myself best friends? In fact I am probably a few thousand miles away from him, I take things as I see them

Now do you understand why I reply seriously?! or should I further explain myself

My mom almost fell for a scam just like this once. I just happened to call her during the process, and I explained the situation. I have now begun to keep closer tabs on my gullible folks.
