JK but it would be nice since it looks like I'm stuck with this car for awhile now that there not worth anything I cant even trade for a 3 year older cobalt SS and mine only a year old with 20,000 miles on it in perfect condition. Yes once the slots have worn it is time. Life should be slightly longer on the rotors vs the pads according to both manufactures.

I ordered the ftp brake lines with this kit for my 06 lsj but the shop that i took it to said they would go on 2 turns and get so tight he didnt wanna strip the threads out. I ended paying some extra for labor and having the stock brake lines reinstalled which is fine, the rotors and pads are installed and are great but can you please help me with this problem lsjwannabe i would love to have steel brake lines installed on my car. Thank you

The shop told me that they had tried two different lines front and rear i believe and that they would bite down but the female end of the brake lines would not screw on to the threads of the male end that the car has, without possibly stripping it.
