Is the SS/SC a sports car?

I am doing Land Speed Racing with a Cobalt SS/SC and have set a record in April, i am going back in October to race again and would like to set record in a another class. The class is G/BFMS (G/ Blown Fuel Modified Sports) This class is intended for production sports cars like the Porsche 911 Chevy corvette Ford Mustang Mazda RX7 etc.
So my question is the SS/SC a sports car or just a fast coupe

youre retarded if you think ANY cobalt is considered a sports car.

it is considered a sports car by the insurance company so you would have to find out through the land speed people

I wouldnt call the cobalt a true sports car after having my 350z now.. however i do miss it. it was def more practical and still had somewhat of a sportscar feel to it
