Just finished up a couple more little pieces. I know everyone's seen the CF dash inserts before, and I think someone else talked about making the fuel injector cover too. But has anyone else done pillars in the balt?

Anywho, pics. I know, my car is dirty, and my sunroof bezel falls off everytime a butterfly farts, or some **** like that.

Still have to do some more filling and finish work where I had to cut to get the gauges to fit.

It's so hard to get a shot without reflection the stuff shines with 3 coats of clear and a fresh coat of wax.

Yeah that's dust on the spark plug cover Vented Invader hood FTW, my friend had to wipe a little part clean before I snapped the pic. I should have cleaned the rest of it, but she's getting a full detail before Saturday.

Laminated stock pieces, with real 2x2 twill CF, and enough resin to keep you a little high for a long time.

And sanding, lots and lots of sanding, and beer.

I like it. Now you should paint the headliner black or redo it in black cloth.

I've wanted to dye the headliner forever, but I'm not sure how all the little bits and pieces would come out (sunroof bezel, trim, visors, etc)

Here the link/how-to I used. Works great. I haven't noticed the car any "hotter" temp wise. BUt yea, do this and your car will feel complete.

I think the headliner will be my next project, it will give me a chance to fix that damn sunroof switch bezel once and for all. I can guarantee that damn thing won't be coming off again when I'm done with it.

I could write a how-to, but I think impulse already did one, if you have any questions lemme know. It just takes lots of time and patience. Not a speedy process, but well worth it in the end

Thanks for the comments all

I bought the CF thru ebay, good stuff arrived quick. You'll need a good 2-part epoxy also, gloves, brushes for the epoxy, acetone, sanding paper (lots), good auto clear coat and the aforementioned patience, in abundance. Not a 1-day or even a weekend project really. You really have to take your time with these.
