I raced a 2007 Rustang GT the other night from a Dig. We stayed pretty even but only raced to the top of second gear. We both got on the highway but he wouldnt run i think he was scared!

stock i havent tried to race people but for some reason everyone thinks i want to race because i drive a turbocharged cobalt. so basically on the highway people pull up next to me and take off while i just sit there lol so heres the list of people that do that.
02 corvette z06 - 900hp 408, exhaust, procharger, completely built(woulda have absolutely no chance)
04 srt-4 neon - apg stage 3 killer, 282 cams, intake, open downpipe, , radials, p-werks trans
04 mustang cobra - stock except and exhaust
surburu sti - exhaust and bov
suburu sti- gt35r, p and l motorsports built 2.7L stroker, AWD set at 20% front 80% rear
06 evo viii - ams built motor, big turbo, radials, would give me any info other then that
see i dont understand why these cars would wanna race a stock cobalt........i woulda had no chance of keeping up and i hate to lose. plus law inforcement around here is absolutely rediculous and pull you over for your muffler being slightly louder then a toyota prius.
now with the turbo back on the car i think it sounds pretty mean. but its only been on for a couple weeks and havent had many to go at it but its still not any faster. but heres the baby list
05 srt-4 neon tuned on e85, big injectors, gt3076r, makes 459fwhp
04 corvette z06 twin turbo 1100rhwp
98 camaro z28 - exhaust, blower cam, intake, throttle body
now ive messesed around with some of my friends on the highway but thats about it and because they are all excellent drivers and i know they know what the limits are and how hard to push there cars. but heres the list that ive killed before and after the exhaust
03 neon srt 4 - magnaflow exhaust, mopar stage 2, short throw
03 neon srt4 - open downpipe, intake, bov, short throw,
04 vw r32 - stock exhaust for the flapper mod and a resonator delete
03 honda s2000 - stock
05 honda s2000 - coilovers, exhaust, intake
97 240sx - built motor(s14 stock bore just forged rods and pistons), stock turbo, bov, exhaust

Honda Civic's try to race me a lot for some reason....so do WRX's and Sti's....interestingly enough, I have always soundly beaten them with my tune only...guess I have yet to run into some truly quick ones.
I did however get destroyed by a Porsche 997 Turbo....for a brief second we were neck and neck but once his turbo spooled up, I was left in the dust...and what a noise his car made!....now those are truly amazing pieces of engineering.
