I just wanted to post up what the steering wheel badge looks like when removed. It's so that my decal I bought can sit better without the raised portion of the old badge.

There's an adhesive on the back of it

 

is it just me or can i see pry marks on the steering wheel?

 

x2 i see them too you can get something to fix it.... forget what its called but it heats up and you can re mold any plastics on the dash.....have to be careful!

 

It's not as noticeable now cause it went back to shape

Where did you buy your replacement? Do they have other ones besides SS?

i emailed them because i only want like 2 of those emblems. i dont need 4
they dont even email back

 

if u get in an accident u will be wearing that badge in the face. it wasnt designed to come out and have another put on.
and thats a direct quote from a air bag engineer or w/e they are called.

the "airbag engineer" seems like an idiot... that emblem does NOT have anything at all to do with how the airbag works... seriously... think about it. not to mention doesnt the part of the wheel with the emblem go downward when it is deployed?

 

ya but i think hes talking about the force of it is gonna knock it off

 

But if the airbag cover is opening down it's not gonna hit my face
