Angry MPS hub Backwards F*** up

when installing my ottp stage 1 kit, i found out my friend who was pulling the old pulley off and installing the new hub and pulley fucked up, quiet a bit. My pulley puller is broke, my hub is now on backwards, my question is, i can press this hub more so the belt will fit, but will this be fine to drive for about a week till i take it to the speed shop and have them reverse the **** up

Yes you can put it on backwards and NO do not push it on further to line up the belt. It will go on too far and bind against the bearing, potentially damaging it. I made the mistake of working on my car late one night and made the mistake of putting the hub on backwards as well. Of course I didn't notice till I had everything bolted back up and the belt did not line up. What kind of puller are yo using? If it's not one specifically designed for our application I suggest not using it and getting the proper one.

Same thing happend to me, I had my pulley milled down a lil bit. been running it hard on backwards for a long time, no issues. But if i had the time, money and patience id pull it back off n do it right.

i have enough room to press it on to fit, but that hub is on there tight, i used the ott puller, its broke now, i am gonna have to get ahold of a speed shop or machinest, but if it can go backwards and ill reverse the pulley to face into the charger that might be a better option

bump

I think it is funny that every time something goes wrong with a car on this forum it is always a "buddy's" fault! lol

Are you sure that hub is on backward? It looks like it is just pushed on to far from what I can tell. The flat part of the hub should be flush with the SC shaft.
