hey stu has a stage 2 you should come back to AR sometime. that was me vs that vdub bug and that thing pissed me off he was running in the import class and he was running 10.5 1000 foots all day. needless to say he he won the trophy for the class. but good video its a lot of good stuff. did you do anything new to you GTP?

 

aha! I didn't realize you were on here and yeah, I'll be coming back to Arkansas to run sometime, though I'm pretty sure stu will probably beat me after his stage 2.. I have a ported blower going on this weekend, and am getting it tuned hopefully in the next week or two, but I'll need probably high ratio rockers and a little smaller of a pulley to stick with stu.

hopefully I'll be back in arkansas for the fall semester of class, gotta figure out if I got accepted or not though...if nothing else, I'll be back for next spring semester

and yeah, that beetle was insane, I had to run him in the final for the imports...he killed me lol

edit - Current mods:

3.5" supercharger pulley (3.8" is stock)
custom 4" fenderwell intake
3" downpipe with high flow cat and ubend delete
DHP PCM (something is messed up with the fueling though so it's kinda sucky right now)

ported blower going on this weekend woot!

I need to get my fuel trims figured out, I think thats part of the reason why I suck from a roll so badly, I should have beat turbonegro's protege better than that... but oh well, what's done is done lol

yeah i saw the video of your sunfire, badass ride! I must admit, I like yours better...his exhaust is waaay too loud. I believe he's now running 8 psi and secret cams in it, so he should be pretty close to where you're at though we have a really crappy track, so I wouldn't be surprised if he can only pull a 14.2 or so...but I will race him when the track opens, just for fun

edit - maybe I can get some 1.9 rockers for the GTP when I'm at harding in the fall, then we can have a re-match from a roll....though with the stage 2, you will probably still walk all over me lol

nah, the supra was one of the guys up here in TN, there are two or three of them in the area, but the owner of this one is really cool, so he hangs out with us fairly often, but he doesn't like racing on the street, so we won't be getting much race footage of it

 

our buddy josh here has a single turbo black supra as well, right now the torque convertor bolts are fucked up so he is letting it sit till he can get it fixed. he was pushing around 500 at the wheels on 19psi, and it is capble of around 700 at 30psi on race gas

 

yeah i saw him post about that on the intense reality forum, looks like a nice car, i've always been a big supra fan, along with pretty much any other car that has power or has potential to make power.

I'm thinking it was a mitsubishi turbo motor, but I'm not positive, he showed it to me, but I didn't really get a good look at it because he was busy talking to one of his friends.

 

a friend of mine figured out how to fit a porche block in his Bug... had the thin running 11s with no other mods... he was a Mercedes Benz Mechanic...good one... car was amazing...

 

that bug was an all out drag car, thats why it smashed the ss
