Wheel Choice for shortbus

Hey guys, what do you think of these wheels on the shortbus, debating on these, or powdercoat the star on my wheels black, the wheel pictured is a 17inch lightweight forged wheel made by centerline in hi-polish silver.

Looking at a different set of wheels eh? Trunk looks nice by the way. I think those centerline wheels would look awsome black or gunmetal. Funny thing is that I was looking into centerline wheels today too.

I THINK. if u have a carbon fiber trunk. u need to go with black wheels. now im a big fan of silver with polished lip. but i think u have a sleeper looking kind of car going. so i say go black

I'm so torn between what to do, now that i have the cf trunk, it would complete the set-up to paint my wheels black, but also i do like the centerline wheels, only if they came in black or gunmetal, ahh what to do!

Tape off and paint your rims like in that picture above. I am really interested in what that would look like. Keep the sides of the spokes and in the dishs gunmetal, and paint the face of the rim a gloss black. That would probably look awsome, but you never know till someone tries it.

I would powdercoat the centerlines, but thats a bit much for my wheel budget, you can get the centerlines for 716$ shipped, and powder coating by a shop is about 300 for all four, iam not trying to spend over 725 or so for wheels.

Hey shortbus, I was just looking on Tire Rack tonight and I noticed they got some more wheels in the dreaded 5-110. I dont know if you have a specific brand in mind but I see they have ASA-JH8's on there. I have a yellow SS S/C myself and I have been trying to find a decent black wheel. You can check them out though...just tryin to help...hey it's an option.
