Anyone have any video or sound clips of a cobalt ss/sc with a catless DP and magnaflow muffler?

 

you sir are in luck, ive since switched to a hahn exhaust but this was last year on my magnaflow setup

 

I dont have a video, but i have a catless down pipe. and magnaflow exust. And mine has no rasppy crap sound.

Ive been looking to do this setup also catless dp header with my magnaflow lol..

 

I have that set up and also took out my resinator. Going down a hill at 3000-3500 rpms the back fires are mean.

sounded like little to no rasp at all, just what i was looking for.

when looking to buy a muffler, however, do all magnaflows sound the same or what?

And what size should I get?

 

iF YOU DONT GO CATBACK, GET A MAGNAFLOW 2.5 OFFSET/ 2.5 CENTER. AMKE SURE YOU HAVE IT ALL GOOD AND TIGHT. i WOULD STILL USE A RESONATOR BECAUSE OF THE RASPPY ISSUES COBALTS HAVE. uSE A VIBRANT HEADER, ZZP DOWN PIPE. GREAT SETUP ON COBALTS, IVE EHARD THEM AND THEY SOUND GREAT.

 

ok, so it should be offset/center with 2.5 inch in/out, any input on size of muffler?

they have all different lengths/round/oval

 

I would get the oval shaped magnaflor, looks like flowmaster type, but trust me sounds so good.
