Has anyone tried this? I cant really find any info on stainless filters. Do they work well?

lol I have the same one... I can post pics of installed in my car if you would like to see... on my supercharged setup it let too much air flow freely for my MAF so I had some warm up issues but when I drove in boost it really made the supercharger whine loud! but I like being sleeper, and I live in WA state so I have to be careful of sucking up water. I also used this cone filter on my NA 2.2 before I was supercharged and I noticed no difference....

 

I think thats the same type they have in a Spectre brand also, and it is highly recommended for track use only because it barely filters out anything.

 

If you have pics that would be great. Would you recommend this filter?

 

I don't use it anymore because like the user above me said they don't filter much out. The are designed for track use only. If there's even the slightest amount of moisture around this filter on a boosted application like in a true CAI intake setup it will suck water BAD! but if your using it for test and tune or track day use I totally recomend! I noticed a difference with my supercharger.
